Whether you are new to Clinical Pastoral Education or continuing your professional development, ACPE offers different levels and categories to meet learners where they are. Your CPE level is determined based on your previous formation and CPE experience. If this will be your first CPE unit, you will typically be placed at Level IA. If you have completed previous CPE units, your documentation and earned credits will be reviewed to determine your appropriate level.

Regardless of level, our units are designed for mixed-level cohorts, creating a rich learning environment through shared reflection, dialogue, and peer learning.
